COSY HOMES

Pupils investigate the insulation properties of various materials, then build and insulate a model home. Using datalogging equipment, they compare whose home heats up the most quickly and therefore who has insulated their home the best. They relate this to conserving energy in their own homes. The model homes are then taken back to school.
